Chocolate pencils from Nendo

Apr 14, 2008

That sounds good! Imagine yourself thinking over a project and biting bit by bit your pencils, enjoying the alluring taste of chocolate. (This unless you hate chocolate or have some interdictions to it.)

How the idea came to life?Nendo (known for its out-of-standards solutions) has impressed Tsujiguchi Hironobu - a patissier which stands behind sound dessert shops such as Mont St. Claire and Le Chocolat de H. Tsujiguchi - to create chocolate pencils. At its turn Nendo inspired by the above mentioned creation invented special tableware for the new dessert. Both invention complete each other and look extremely innovative.

The nice thing about these chocolate pencils is that they come with different content of cacao, so you can enjoy a variety of chocolate blends. If you have a little more imagination then you may use these delicious chocolate sticks not just to eat as they are, but also as decorations for your cakes, ice-cream, etc. You can easily do this with the attached 'pencil sharpener', which manages artistic filings! At the same time the Nendo plate will complete the image of your dessert, and you'll be the God of the desserts!

Made for…So, if you don't know how to get rid of annoying pencil filings, just eat them! Interesting way to get rid of wastes! Maybe in the nearer future the humanity will make it possible for all wastes to be eatable!?

Again, if you are one of those people out there who enjoy chewing on the end of the pencil, but hate the rubber eraser aftertaste, here is the solution!

Dilemmas!I wonder what will happen if the people get addicted to the pencil-chewing process. You see, chocolate creates some addiction (as any yummy piece). So would some be in control of their desires? Would, at last, people be in control of their weight?

I just can imagine the reaction of people in the next-to-the-office bar when I'd get a pencil out of my pocket and pill some filings in my ice-cream. They would definitely think that I'm out of my mind. Besides, guys I'd not recommend taking with you chocolate pencils everywhere, especially not in your pocket - it will simply get melt and mess your clothes.

Anyway the idea is very bold. Clever stuff, simple reference, nicely done! That's my final verdict.
